After growing up in Winona, MN, Katie and her husband, Kevin, fell in love with the Brainerd Lakes area and made the move to Nisswa, MN back in 2010. Prior to moving to this area, Katie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor's in Consumer Science - Retail, a Certificate in Textile Science and main coursework in Interior Design, Drafting/CAD, and Art History.

Over the past 20 years, Katie has had the great pleasure of working in positions ranging from retail management, furniture and bedding design and production, marketing, and interior design. Katie's life and career experiences have given her the unique ability and gift of turning houses into homes her clients love. Katie has a sophisticated style that is both classic and timeless. Katie's goal is to learn about her client's wants and expectations in order to create and design a home that reflects their personal style and is a home they will love for years to come. Katie loves what she does and it shows in each and every one of her designs.
